To rent a vehicle from Capetano Car Rentals, you must be at least 21 years of age, hold a valid driver's license that has not expired, and have a verified account with approved identification and license documents on file.
Vehicle prices are shown upfront on the website. Selecting your dates, reviewing the total, and completing payment reserves the vehicle immediately, though our team still performs a final check before pickup. Your driver's license and ID must be verified before you can complete a booking.
Rental rates are shown per vehicle per day. Your exact total, including any optional extras and any outside-Greater-Accra surcharge you select, is calculated and shown to you before you pay. Full payment is required to confirm your booking. We accept payment by card, bank transfer, or mobile money through our payment partner, Paystack.
Our team assigns the exact pickup and return time for your booking; these are not customer-selected. Returning the vehicle after the assigned return time incurs a late fee, while a late pickup does not. See our Cancellation & Damage Policy for the current late-return fee schedule.
The vehicle may only be driven by the customer named on the booking, using the driver's license verified on their account. The vehicle must not be used for any illegal purpose, to transport hazardous materials, for off-road driving, or to tow another vehicle, unless separately agreed in writing.
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is returned with less than a full tank, a refueling charge applies based on the fuel level at return. See our Cancellation & Damage Policy for the current charge schedule.
The vehicle's condition is documented by our staff at both pickup and return. Any new damage identified at return that isn't consistent with normal wear and tear will be charged to the customer, based on the cost of repair. See our Cancellation & Damage Policy for details.
Cancellation terms, including our no-refund policy, are set out in full in our Cancellation & Damage Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
The customer is responsible for the vehicle for the full duration of the rental period and is liable for any loss, theft, or damage that occurs while the vehicle is in their possession, except where caused by a pre-existing mechanical fault not disclosed at pickup.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
Questions about these terms can be sent through our Contact page.
