All cancellations are final. No refunds are given once a cancellation fee has been applied, regardless of how far in advance the booking is cancelled or the reason for cancellation. You can cancel a booking yourself from your account up until it reaches an active, paid status; after that point, cancellations must be handled directly by our staff.
We recommend only checking out once your travel plans are confirmed, since payment is required to book.
Our staff record the vehicle's condition, including odometer reading, fuel level, and exterior/interior condition, at both pickup and return. Any damage identified at return that wasn't present at pickup is charged to the customer, based on the actual cost to repair it. This charge is added to your booking and must be settled before your deposit (if any remains on file) is released.
Normal wear and tear (minor scuffs, ordinary road dirt) is not charged.
Every vehicle is provided with a full tank and must be returned full. If it isn't, a refueling charge applies based on how much fuel is missing at return:
| Fuel level at return | Charge |
|---|---|
| ¾ tank or more (up to a quarter tank missing) | GHS 800 |
| ½ tank (up to half a tank missing) | GHS 1,600 |
| Empty or near-empty | GHS 2,400 |
This charge covers refueling and the inconvenience of an empty handover to the next customer; it is not simply the cost of the fuel itself.
Our team assigns an exact pickup and return time for your booking, shown on your booking confirmation. You don't choose these yourself. Only a late drop-off is charged; arriving late for pickup never triggers this fee.
If the vehicle is returned after the assigned return time, a late fee of GHS —/hour (or part of an hour) applies for every hour it's overdue. For example, returning 2 hours 15 minutes late is charged as 3 full hours.
If anything here is unclear before you book, please reach out via our Contact page first. We're glad to explain any of this in more detail.
